Long story short, we went to the Getty, Westwood (eavesdropped on a boy explaining the entire Twilight saga to his parents), this MOCA exhibit that was separate from the actual MOCA, and LACMA.
I wasn't exactly sure which location was the actual MOCA museum, but I found one that was closer to LACMA and we headed to that one for the lulziest experience ever.
What we ended up at was this small exhibit in West Hollywood that was part of MOCA but not directly at the site. I didn't realize that we were in West Hollywood until I looked around and thought "wow, there are a lot of men here... a lot of men with really tight clothes." IT WAS SO SASSY. While we were paying for our parking, this car ROLLS UP OUT OF NO WHERE BLASTING TECHNO MUSIC. It was full of 4 gay guys and their girl friend. They were complaining about the parking meter and being so lulzy and omg I tried so hard not to laugh. There was storming out of vehicles, Britney Spears being blasted, and confused individuals. All they had to do was move their car to a parking spot behind them to fix everything...
So after this scene that was worthy of being in a movie, we went to the gallery and it had these very cool Black Swan inspired dresses from Rodarte. They were very haunting, and the set up with the changing lights created that kind of atmosphere. It was kind of annoying because it became too dark to even see anything, but it was cool. I don't think we could take any photos.

Then we went to LACMA, which I had no idea included a $10 admittance fee. We drove all the way there, and I already paid for parking, so Ava and I ended up paying up and going. I kind of need to have a ticket too. I really wanted to visit it because I never had been there before, and I enjoyed it. There was a tonnnnnn of artwork to look at.

| Largest mirror ever. |
These figures were only about an inch high, and contained so much detail it was insane.
There was this one exhibit with really, really abstract stuff. I wasn't really too into it. It was a little bit too out there for me.

| This was rather creepy. |
We spent a good amount of time there and got our moneys worth. We just felt bad cause Nicole didn't come inside with us so she was left there waiting for us.
I blogged here as opposed to Tumblr because my pictures were already uploaded to Picasa and this just links the photos from there, making things easier. Now I have to get working on my two projects due this week!
