Now it's just the waiting game.
This has been one crazy weekend, oh my god! I even almost forgot it was going to be my birthday on Friday! Sadly, it was the last thing on my mind. All I wanted to do was finish my portfolio in a timely matter (but that of course did not happen). I had a paper due on Wednesday and a motion graphics project due on Friday as well, fuhhhhh.
I actually went out for my birthday to Wood Ranch with just a few friends. I was way too stressed to organize an entire event with a bunch of people. I just wanted to keep it simple. Dennis and I just came up with it quickly during lunch on Thursday. Not everyone I invited could go, but I understood it was very last minute and I wasn't expecting everyone to be free. Even though they never asked me what I would want, they got me totally right! I wasn't even expecting to get gifts!
After multiple trips to Art Supply Warehouse, Michael's, and Joanne's, sometimes twice in one day, I got it all done. I woke up really early on Sunday to try and finish everything that day, and I ended up not finishing until nearly 4 am on Monday.
Yesterday was very hectic and I was driving from Long Beach to Yorba Linda to Fullerton then back to HB to go back to LB all before 4pm to turn in two more additions to one of my projects. I ended up getting there when two of the judging staff members were in the room looking at everyone's things (one of them being the head of graphic design at school). Even though they don't know my name, they know which set up is mine now ahhh lol. I'm not just an anonymous face with a name on a desk anymore which I guess is good.
I came home, fell asleep at 8pm, and woke up at 8am. Mmmm good sleep.
My room was a bit messy...
Now I can move on with my life and just wait to hear if I got in or not...
